No. It’s an active antimicrobial technology embedded into the bristle material during manufacture, rather than a coating applied to the surface. That’s what allows it to keep working through brushing and washing.
How long does it last?
BioBristle™ is designed to stay active for the full working life of the brush - around 18 months of normal use.
Do I still need to clean my brush?
Yes. BioBristle™ reduces bacterial growth on the bristle surface, but normal cleaning - removing hair and product build-up - is still good practice. See our care guidance for the simple routine we recommend.
Is it safe for all hair and skin types?
KILLABRUSH is designed for everyday use on all hair types. If you have a specific skin sensitivity or condition, we’d always suggest checking with a professional first.
